We were visiting from out of state. Our home mechanic botched our carb rebuild before we left and Scotty was the only one in the Coeur d'Alene area that would work on our 25+ year old Johnson motor.

Not only did he fit us in as quick as he could, but he found us parts, worked with us to get the motor fixed, and shared his knowledge with me on how best to operate the motor. We had a second issue with the fuel pump and he helped get fuel pump changed as well.

Scott saved our holiday. His services were excellent and he did exactly what he said he would. No over promising, no under delivering. Just doing his best to get us on the water and save our trip.

Scotty's is simply awesome! He happily agreed to work on my ancient and quite messed up boat when none of the other local repair shops would even touch it. I can see why, as I gave him a ton of problems - Unknown engine year, Broken trim/tilt unit, bad engine ignition, bad electrical, etc... Scotty quickly diagnosed everything and kept me updated on the situation the entire time. He then quickly (and cheaply) fixed each problem and I now have a wonderfully functioning boat at half of my expected price. It's hard to say better words about this operation! Best Marine Service facility in the area. Scotts very knowledgeable and knows exactly what he's doing. Very time efficient and his prices are very reasonable. He answers everytime I call with a question and has even gone out of his way to talk me through the process of why and how he's performed whatever maintenance I've requested. I'm not trying to knock any other boat dealers in the area but last summer Scott figured out an issue with my mercury motor that no other marina in the area could figure out. Scotty's marine was my 4th try and Scott fixed it in 30 minutes. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I'll continue to use Scotty's marine services as long as I live in the area.

Super fast service. Called him on Wednesday in first week of June with a boat running with only about 70% power. He had me drop it off on Thursday. Diagnosed and ordered parts that same day. I was back on the water (running at 100%) Monday. Fast and friendly.
